'Fire made by fire'
Part of 'the element series'.
I made this series firsthand with artificial paint. However after getting more familiar with working with natural pigments,  I explored how the element looks like when they are made with pigments coming for the element they are representing. So, the paintings are not only visualizing the element but also embodying them. 
 
The element of Fire is visualized by a dragon. It symbolizes warmth, power, strength, courage, wisdom and the creation of new life. Most of the fire pigments I collected at places with a lot of sun, and for that have a connection for me with the fire element. Like stones from the desert of Jordan, clay from Andalusia and Hibiscus from Mexico. In addition, I also used ashes from campfires.
